I should be glad to accompany you on your excursion to the
Wachau valley. On the way we will visit the
Benedictine Abbey of Melk (alternative: Abbey of Göttweig). After a short drive we will arrive in
Dürnstein, where the famous English king Richard, "The Lionhearted", was imprisoned in Dürnstein castle. There we can taste and buy the wine of this region. After a boat trip on the Danube (approx. 90 minutes) we will arrive in
Krems, where we will enjoy a final walk through the old town centre.
Further possibilities for excursions on
request.
